United Telugu American Association (UTAA) is a non-political, non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of togetherness, cooperation and social interaction among Telugu speaking people in United States. Building awareness and promotion of Telugu culture in the United States through this socio-cultural network is one of the main goals.
UTAA is one of the Indo-American organizations in United States and is one of the newest Telugu Associations in North America.
UTAA is formally registered as a Non-profit organization in the state of New Jersey.
UTAA bases itself on the philosophy of serving with high integrity bringing transparency of running and focusing the organization for next generation of the community. UTAA aims to achieve success in increasing the quality and quantity of cultural programs involving children and family members. Telugu Youth across the spectrum will be given high priority in UTAA activities because they are the torch bearers for the future of the people of Telugu origin in USA in promoting cultural, educational, social and economic activities. |

UTAA builds harmony among Telugu people through bringing the members together for different events like social, cultural and other celebrations of interest for the community.
UTAA proposes to conduct various monthly, quarterly and annual events and encourages participation by members and well wishers at these events.
UTAA proposes to organize celebrations for three major events every year coinciding with major festivals or other occasions and host a picnic in summer.

UTAA also proposes to organize special cultural events from time to time, performed by artists from the local talent pool, visiting from India and elsewhere. In addition,
UTAA encourages participation in the local Indian events and fundraisers to promote awareness of Telugu culture and demonstrate the Telugu Pride and the 'giving nature' of we Telugu people.

UTAA Executive Committee members are elected every two years.
UTAA Executive Committee members conduct day-to-day operation of the organization under the overall guidance and oversight of the Founding Committee. The non-executive Founding Committee will always co-exist with the elected Executive Committee and provides oversight and advisory role. Additionally, Sub-Committees will be formed by nomination or the Executive Committee can co-opt committee members ("Co-opted committee members") for a specific responsibility.
