Registration
 
Registration is open for all types of memberships. Please review and make yourselves familiar with the UTAA Constitution and By-Laws before while you register to be a member of UTAA. Your membership and subsequent relationship with UTAA is governed by this constitution and bylaws.

Registrations are of two types – Memberships and Event Registration. Please use the appropriate link for registering. Membership is used if you want to become a Member for the first time or change your current membership. Use the Event Registration link to register to events when they are announced. Please follow the details mentioned there.

UTAA membership is open to any person of Telugu Origin and a resident of US. All UTAA members should agree to abide by the objectives and purposes as defined in the Article III of the Constitution and Bylaws.

Types of membership:
 
Membership Type Fees Details
Life Member $ 100 / life All members who are 18 and above; not students can be a Life Member. Life Membership is for the family. Any family member beyond high-school should join as a Student member.

Life Members can participate in the election either by voting or contesting for the positions on Executive Committee.
Student Member $ 10 / year Student Membership is to be renewed every year. A Student Membership can be converted as a Life Membership within the first three years of continuous Student Membership by paying the balance seventy dollars ($70). This balance is due at the time when the conversion is happening.

Student Members can participate in the election either by voting for Student Members or contesting for Student Member positions on the Executive Committee. Student Members cannot contest for or vote for other positions on the Executive Committee.
 
* Another category of membership that is not open for subscription is Founding Members. Founding Members are those who formed the UTAA initially and set the process of the organization in motion. The responsibilities of Founding Members are defined in the Constitution/Bylaws.
 
How to become a Member?

Anyone can become a member by making payments only through a Check, Postal Order or a Cahier’s Draft in the required amount payable to “ UTAA or United Telugu American Association”. Please make sure the payment is accompanied by the Membership Form. Any payment without a completed Membership Form will be returned, unless noted otherwise by the sender. Please use the For or Notes on the check to make the payment is for Membership Fees.

When becoming a member, please make sure that you fill out the online form as well. This will be used to track your membership, receipt of the check and for eventually be used to provide you Membership ID, Login to the Memberships section of the website and security for the same. Please do not forget to complete this important step in the process of enrolling as a member of UTAA. In summary, filling out the online form, the Manual form (to be downloaded from the link below) and the payment of check are three (3) steps in the enrollment for membership process.

At present UTAA is accepting only Checks/Postal Orders and no Cash or any other form of payment is accepted. Please do not make payments in any other form other than those mentioned above. UTAA Executive Committee is making efforts to tie up with appropriate financial institutions for accepting Credit Card payments. As and when the required tie-ups are completed, this section of this website will be updated to reflect the details and the process.

Event Registration:
 
All events of UTAA are registration based. Whenever an event is announced, the registration details, payment associated with the event registration and the process for registration & payment will be communicated / notified.

Please note that registration per the details and making the payments required will be essential to participate in the events. Watch out for the event notifications and the details.

At present payments for the Events is to be made through Checks/Postal Orders only. No other form is accepted. Please do not make Cash payments. Payments for the events can be made in advance in the accepted forms either by mail or at the event venue. When making payments at the venue please confirm your participation and obtain the confirmation note through the website online form. Please follow the instruction provided through the event notification for the same.
